Copper Top the Dog needs a home
Hi; I’m Copper, and I'm a sweet and friendly one-year-old "love bug"! I love all people - I easily win over everyone I meet. My seven-year-old (human) foster cousin says I am his favorite doggie! I love playing with doggie toys, or even sticks. You can see a video of me goofing around the yard with a stick on my page at NCRUFF.org. I'm a medium/large dog, weighing in at just over 50 pounds. I want to be the only dog in your home, and I am looking for a home with a fenced-in backyard so that I can show you how fast I can run. (It’s very fast!) No apartments or townhomes for me. I’m house-trained, crate trained, and I already know some basics like “sit” and “drop it”.
I like to sniff, sniff, and smell absolutely everything and everyone with my big hound nose, and I love to play! I stay in my crate when I'm home alone, but I get free reign when my humans are home, even overnight, because I'm completely house trained and not destructive. At night, I will sleep on a doggie bed or in your human bed, if I'm allowed to. I'm an excellent snuggler!
My favorite toys are my rope and my tennis ball, and my favorite games are tug of war, keep away, and fetch. I’m really good at all of these games, but I have been known to get distracted by a really interesting scent now and then!
